The Greater South Fork Community Foundation (GSFCF) was established in 2003 as an affiliate fund of Pikes Peak Community Foundation (PPCF), a 501 (c ) (3) organization.  PPCF serves as the Fiscal Sponsor for our activities so that contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Funding has been obtained from local residents and businesses, second homeowners, visitors and special events.

The purpose of the organization is to enhance the quality of life and community pride as well as being responsive to the needs of the community.  In order to meet objectives, our goals are:

  • To identify the needs and opportunities of the area
  • To promote philanthropy
  • To engage the community to actively seek opportunities to work on common goals

The Greater South Fork Community Foundation is located in a unique spectacular area of the state with rivers, streams, mountains, forests and wildlife.  Our great outdoors offers fishing, hunting, golfing, snow-mobiling, skiing, four-wheeling, rafting, hiking, touring, rock-climbing, and jeeping.  The Foundation hopes to enhance this beautiful area by giving to the community in a manner that enhances and builds on its current strengths and tremendous potential.
